Modern Methods of Construction Training Centre
The Modern Methods of Construction Training Centre (Training Centre) was established within Economic Development Queensland’s Northshore Hamilton Priority Development Area (PDA) located in Brisbane. The role of the Training Centre was to help customers make informed purchasing decisions regarding prefabricated homes that best support their operational and frontline needs.
The Training Centre comprised the temporary display of four houses built by three MMC suppliers in partnership with QBuild. The houses at the Training Centre have now been deployed to regional Queensland for the purposes of keyworker housing. While in person tours are no longer available, you can explore the MMC Training Centre via a digital walkthrough.
