Queensland Renewable Energy Procurement Policy
The Queensland Renewable Energy Procurement Policy (QREPP) (PDF, 1729.62 KB) outlines how the Queensland Government’s Buy Queensland approach to procurement, is applied to the procurement of renewable energy infrastructure. Note: This policy document should be read noting the Renewable Energy BPICs provisions have been suspended, and the requirements of clauses 3.2.2 and 4.6.3 are temporarily removed. The suspension also involves the temporary removal of the industrial relations best practice principle at clauses 3.2.1 and 4.6.2.

Renewable Energy Best Practice Industry Conditions
This has been temporarily suspended.
The government has temporarily suspended the use of Best Practice Industry Conditions (BPICs) which includes the Renewable Energy Best Practice Industry Conditions (BPICs) (PDF, 2389.21 KB) on all new government-funded major projects as of 14 November 2024.
The suspension also involves the temporary removal of the industrial relations best practice principle in the Queensland Procurement Policy and removal of the requirement for subcontractors to be prequalified.
