Following the latest state government election, a new Queensland Government Ministry was sworn in on 12 November 2020.

As a result, there have been changes to Queensland Government departments.

We are progressively updating our website to reflect these new arrangements.

Functions

We are responsible for:

• building policy and asset management
• Queensland Government procurement
• energy
• hydrogen energy.

Leadership

Mick de Brenni is the Minister for Energy, Renewables and Hydrogen, and the Minister for Public Works and Procurement.
