The Strategic Plan 2024–2028 recognises our commitment to human rights, acknowledges our First Peoples and highlights our 6 values— all of which are central to the culture we want to achieve together.

It also details the strategic risks that we need to manage, the opportunities we can pursue, the strategies we will employ to deliver our objectives and the performance indicators that will measure our success.

Previous Strategic Plans

Following the December 2023 government changes, the Department of Energy and Public Works was renamed to the Department of Energy and Climate, resulting in the transfer out of the Public Works functions and transfer in of the new agency functions.
